Hi. My name is Epifanio López, born on the 8th of December, 1964 in the Central Valley of the state of Oaxaca, Mexico.

I belong to the second generation in my family to work at textile art which has always made us feel really proud and we hope to share with you through GRANATE.

When I was young, my parents would teach me different weaving techniques. With the passage of years and having gained experience, I succeeded my parents to carry out this beautiful work which I too have been teaching my children so that they in turn will teach my grandchildren. The looms which we use have been used for many centuries by our ancestors who have bequeathed us their great artistic and spiritual teachings.
